Paramedic |
| Type of Position: Part-time and Full-time |
Two full time (.9) positions in the Ambulance/Emergency Department. Shifts/hours include: Days/Nights and every other weekend for both positions. Paramedics work on the ambulance when 911 calls are received or transfers are necessary. In the Emergency Department, paramedics are partnered with the ER/UC RN and Physician as a team and work under their direction performing direct patient care procedures and assists with care in more complex situations. Must have current MN State (and national certification) as Paramedic, CPR and ACLS Certification, PALS Certification (if not current, needs to be completed within 6 months after hire), some experience as EMT-P preferred. Must relate well to patients and families in a friendly and supportive manner.
EMT/PCT - Ambulance/Med Surg |
| Type of Position: Part-time |
Two part time positions, .6 (nights and every 3rd weekend) and .75 (days and every third weekend). The EMT/PCT performs direct and indirect patient care tasks. Assists with clerical and other support tasks to facilitate the smooth operation of the MedSurg unit. May perform direct patient care procedures under the direct supervision of the RN and/or Physician. Assists with care in more complex situations in the ER and responds to 911 calls. Must maintain State Certification and National Registry as an EMT-B. BLS Certification required. Must be able to lift minimum of 50 lbs. Some experience at EMT preferred.
Phlebotomist - Lab |

Two part time positions, .4 working every other weekend and 2 evenings a week and .2 (casual) working every other weekend and occasional holidays. Candidates may have earned a certificate from a Medical Assistant program, a Phlebotomy program, or may be registered or licensed with one of the following: ASCP or NCA. Previous on-the-job phlebotomy training will be considered. Must be able to travel to work other sites as needed with own transportation.
Transcription/Coding Specialist |

Monday - Friday, days, and every 3rd weekend mornings. This position facilitates the maintenance of accurate health records by timely and accurate transcription of medical reports. Coding experience using ICD-9-and CPT-4 classification systems, computer data entry of medical information, answering telephone and handling requests appropriately. Education to include successful completion of an accredited transcription and/or coding program including medical terminology, anatomy and phsiology or skills obtained through other work or training experience.
Human Resources/Payroll Coordinator |

Monday - Friday, days. Coordinate payroll processing and benefit administration for all hospital and clinic personnel. Associate degree in Human Resources or related field, and/or 3 - 5 years experience with payroll responsibilities. Experience with day to day coordination of employee benefits and payroll processing as well as knowledge of state and federal regulations associate with both areas.
| Registered Nurse - Emergency Department |

Hours: .6 working Days/Nights rotation and every third weekend & holiday. Accountable for the provisions of nursing care to all patients in the hospital and to prescribe, delegate and coordinate that care as part of the daily responsibility. Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Minnesota license, certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS. RN should be currently certified in TNCC, CALS, CATN, or ATCN.

Monday - Friday, days with call duties possible in future. The Registered Nurse specializing in perioperative nursing practice performs nursing activities in preoperative, intra-operative and postoperative phases of the patient's surgical experience. This RN performs duties in Same Day Surgery, Post Anesthesia Care and in the operating room in the circulating and scrub nurse role. Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Minnesota license, certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS.

Hours: Monday - Friday, days (may evolve into a.m. Saturday with future clinic growth). The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provisions of nursing care to all patients in the clinic. Will also participate in unit management, staff orientation and self development. Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Minnesota license, certified in Basic Life Support (BLS). Previous experience working in a clinic preferred.
